A trove of history
Welcome to the Archives of the FILA Foundation Museum: a treasure trove of history and culture that chronicles more than a century of FILA. An exceptional collection spanning the entire evolution of this iconic brand.
Our archive houses a wide range of items, including clothing, shoes and accessories. With over 30,000 exhibits, it presents a tangible history of sportswear fashion over the past decades. Each item represents an important milestone in the history of FILA, a brand that has always innovated and adapted to the times.
We have adopted special processes and treatments to ensure the longevity of this extraordinary legacy. They allow us to preserve every detail for future generations. Each garment, pair of shoes or accessory holds a unique story, and we are committed to safeguarding them so they can continue to inspire.
The video documents the innovative process of restoring and preserving historical FILA shoes. The foundation has adopted a unique and experimental method that begins with cleaning and reconstructing any damage. Next up, the shoes are treated with special products for each material. Finally, to protect the shoes from external agents such as oxygen particles, vacuum packaging is applied.
The archives of the FILA Museum Foundation are not limited to physical objects. We also preserve more than 300,000 videos, photographs, catalogues, sketches and documents. This documentation broadens our understanding of the FILA brand, providing a complete picture of its evolution over time.
The FILA Foundation Museum Archives is a place of discovery, a reminder of the past that helps us shape the future. Welcome to the world of the FILA Foundation Museum Archives, where history comes alive.
