WHAT IF NEXT YEAR PASSED IN A WHILE?
In 1979, at the end of a decade that marked 20th century culture in a strong way, Bolognese singer Lucio Dalla sang L’anno che verrà. Thanks to the strength of words such as the initial ‘Dear friend, I’m writing you…’, we can still sing this song with a happy mood. As we read the lyrics again, we find ourselves hit by an excerpt: ‘What if next year passed in a while…?’.
2022 passed in a while, didn’t it? It looks like yesterday that, by the end of post-pandemic 2021 doubts, we started to edit new social media events. That’s how we invented the Parole (‘Words’) video glossary, the Eppur si muove (‘And Yet It Moves’) stop-motion videos, the nutrition and physiotherapy Alimento in movimento (‘Moving Food’) contents. Starting from FILA heritage and values, we managed to speak to different, transversal audiences.
Our museum, a bastion for fashion designers, kept representing an attraction (also) for visitors coming from all over the world, who could really enjoy a unique offer. An Easter treasure hunt, an Escape Room on the occasion of Archivissima 2022, the TUTT1 1NS1EME: THE EXHIBITION group show. This event – the final phase of the contest devoted to FILA’s 111th anniversary – reflected on sustainability, a crucial, multifaceted topic that in the forthcoming months will represent a strong daily challenge. The winning projects, exhibited on the occasion of Museimpresa’s 21st Business Culture Week, gathered a talented, heterogeneous selection of artists, with whom the dialogue – we’re sure about it – is going to be prolific.
What about our Ambassadors? Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Graziani and Andrea ‘Lucky’ Lucchetta are still a precious witness. Last July, Ciccio was protagonist of a successful Summer Football Academy: from Biella to Subiaco and Arezzo, the ex-football player conquered kids and teenagers able to find in football practice a tool for aggregation. In September, on the other hand, the both of them have been protagonists of Bi-S, the second edition of Wonnie in Giro that took place in Strambino, Turin. A weekend under the sign of being in company of our dearest ones, an occasion to remember that sports are better when it becomes encounter.
Time flies in a happy way when you have fun. 2023, in this sense, will find ourselves present, receptive, open to welcome challenges and changes. Music reminds us of it:
‘But television says the new year
Is gonna bring a change
We’re already waiting for it’
